[cs_content][cs_element_section _id=”1″ ][cs_element_layout_row _id=”2″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”3″ ][cs_element_text _id=”4″ ][cs_content_seo]Summertime is coming and Key City Public Theatre is here for your performing artists to shine!
Every summer, we offer week long camps for ages 8-15. These day camps provide an immersive experience for students of all levels to deepen and expand skills taught throughout the year.  They are also an excellent introduction to the fun and creativity of theatre arts education. Each camp results in a showcase for friends and family to highlight their experience during the immersive week.
These popular camps that engage youth in fun, creative ways outdoors at Worthington Park (Quilcene) generally sell out, so early registration is recommended.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=”5″ ][cs_element_layout_row _id=”6″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”7″ ][cs_element_text _id=”8″ ][cs_content_seo]Quilcene Theatre Summer Camp\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”9″ ][cs_content_seo]✓ Worthington Park, Linger Longer Stage✓ Class limited to 20 students\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][cs_element_layout_row _id=”10″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”11″ ][cs_element_text _id=”12″ ][cs_content_seo]August 12- 16, 2024\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”13″ ][cs_content_seo]Monday – Friday9:00am – 12:00pm\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_button _id=”14″ ][cs_content_seo]Sign-Up! $260\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”15″ ][cs_content_seo]If full, click here for waitlist >\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][cs_element_layout_row _id=”16″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”17″ ][cs_element_text _id=”18″ ][cs_content_seo]Full & partial scholarships available by request, please visit our Scholarship Request page.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][cs_element_section _id=”19″ ][cs_element_layout_row _id=”20″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”21″ ][cs_element_text _id=”22″ ][cs_content_seo]Location\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”23″ ][cs_content_seo]Our Summer Camp Intensives are held outdoors at Worthington Park (Linger Longer Stage).

After graduating college Bry Kifolo was as an assistant instructor during summer workshops at Key City Public Theatre in 2018 and 2019 before being offered a position as a teaching assistant at Bloomsburg Theatre Ensemble. During her time at BTE she focused on cultivating and implementing a yearlong theater education curriculum for the North Central Secure Treatment Unit School. Every week she led classes for incarcerated young women, ages 12 to 20, teaching them various aspects of theater. Bry also created and taught workshops, classes and residencies in central Pennsylvania high schools. The focus of these classes ranged from directing and script writing, to monologue and audition techniques, as well as costume design, set design and many other facets of theater. As a teaching artist, she has worked with students aged 4 to 21 years old. During the pandemic, Bry was still able to teach classes through Zoom, connecting with a wide range of students and inviting them into the world of theater.\n\nBry Kifolo[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_accordion][cs_element_text _id=”35″ ][cs_content_seo]Questions?\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_text _id=”36″ ][cs_content_seo]Email Brendan Chambers at brendan@keycitypublictheatre.org.\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][cs_element_layout_row _id=”37″ ][cs_element_layout_column _id=”38″ ][cs_element_line _id=”39″ ][cs_element_text _id=”40″ ][cs_content_seo]Our theater education programs are funded in part by a grant from Jefferson Community Foundation\n\n[/cs_content_seo][cs_element_image _id=”41″ ][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
