All Answers to the Quintessential Key City Players Quiz

Week Eight —  Which benefits would a new theatre bring to KCP and Port Townsend?

D.  All of the above

A new theatre will:

More than triple the seating capacity of Key City Players’ current leased space and provide state- of -the -art production facilities that will enable KCP to grow its artistic vision

Provide performance opportunities and production resources for other performing artists and groups.

Enhance Port Townsend’s image as an Arts Community, becoming a destination for residents and visitors alike.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week Seven  —  What is the biggest limitation of Key City Players’ currently leased facility?

C.  It's way, way too small

We will allow credit for any of the answers, but “way, way too small” is the most descriptive answer. Our audience and artistic vision have outgrown our current leased facility which is available to us only on a month-to-month basis. A new theatre will address the growth of our audience and artistic vision.

Week Six  —  How many days of the year does KCP provide entertainment by and for the community?

A.  120 days a year

Week Five  —  What is P T Shorts?

C.  a free program of readings offered by KCP each Gallery Night

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week Three  —  How many people attended KCP productions last year?

B.  6,000

Although our Shakespeare productions in Chetzemoka Park accommodate large audiences, the seating capacity (46 seats) of our current leased facility limits the size of the audience for our other mainstage productions.

----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Week Two  —  Where was the first Key City Players production performed?

C. The club house at the Port Townsend Golf Course

“The Reluctant Debutante” was performed in April, 1959, in the club house of the Port Townsend Golf Course. The other two answers — the Elks Club and the Erickson Building — are also places once used for KCP productions.

Week One  —  When was Key City Players founded?

B.  1958
