After several seasons of Shakespeare’s comedies we are thrilled to present a history play. Simultaneously action-packed and thoughtfully comedic, with massive battles and intimate family drama, in a landscape filled with warriors, barflies, royals, buffoons – HENRY IV Part One promises to be an exhilarating evening in Chetzemoka Park.
Performance run time: 2 hours, 15 minutes (includes one 15 minute intermission)
Shakespeare in the Park is Pay-What-You-Wish at the gate with cash or check.
Advance tickets are available, at the full suggested donation price, online or in person at the box office.

MORE DETAILS About Performances in the Park:
Bring a chair or a blanket for seating. Camp chairs, folding chairs and beach chairs are all welcome. Advance purchased tickets do not include seating. There are a limited number of blankets for loan at the park.
Golf Cart Transportation for mobility challenged patrons is available between the main gate of Chetzemoka Park and the performance area at the bottom of the hill. The cart runs from 5:15pm until 6pm. Please wait at the main gate (intersection of Jackson & Blaine Sts) for pick-up. After 6pm you may send someone down to the performance area to alert the driver. The cart runs at intermission (to the restrooms) and after the show.
Seating begins at 5:30pm. Typically the line begins to form between 5pm – 5:15pm. Seating is first come/ first served beginning at 5:30pm. The performance area easily accommodates 300+ patrons.
Picnics welcome or food & beverage available for purchase. Plan ahead and bring a picnic, pizza, dinner-to-go, OR the concession stand opens at 5pm and offers hot dogs, popcorn, chips, sodas, juice, cookies, nuts, candy, hot cocoa, coffee/tea, hot cider and bottled water.
Weather Cancellations: Cancellations of performances will be determined at 4:00pm on performance days based upon the current weather at Chetzemoka Park. Cancellations occur for heavy rain or severe wind conditions. Advance purchased and Subscriber tickets will be honored on any other performance date for Shakespeare in the Park. To the best of our ability, cancellations will be announced by 4:30pm on our website, Facebook page, Box Office outgoing message (360-385-KCPT), and onsite at the Park.
The weather is changeable as the sun sets due to the performance proximity to the water. Please consider bringing extra layers or a blanket.
